He gives free kicks when someone makes a bad challenge to the other team, awards a throw in to the opposite team that kicks the ball out of play and if he thinks someone has made a bad challenge he can red card them which means the player will not play the rest of that match but may be banned for more. He can give corners and penaltys. They also have linesman to tell them when someone is offside and to help them judge who's throw in, free kick, corner and penalties.
