Intentional foul - a personal foul which the official feels was deliberate. Two free throws are awarded, as well as a personal foul against the offender.

For example someone is going for a layup and i push them against the wall. with out even trying to block there shot.

An intentional foul under NFHS rules is a foul designed to prevent the game clock from starting, or a foul to stop the game clock without making a legitimate play on the ball. Excessive non-flagrant contact could also be ruled an intentional foul.
