you need 4 steps 1.be quick 2.think like your the forward 3.think before you defend 4.be positive you're gonna get the ball You need endurance, getting back to cover your defense is also important, depends on your set up, but if your playing stopper your prolly running a 3 man Defense, make sure you can get back to cover the positions and assist. Be fast enough to push up and win the ball in the air, and have enough endurance to keep up the speed so you can push into the other teams zone and still get back if need be. Don't be afraid to be tough either, keep the arms down and don't purposefully kick an opposing player but don't let them get in your way. Those are the keys to being a good stopper.
