1. Statistically, the New Orleans Saints. Still undefeated at 11-0, they lead the league in scoring (37 points per game - a ridiculously high average after eleven games) and total offensive yardage per game; they average 6.6 yards per offensive play (another crazy high average) and outscore their opponents by an average of 17 points per game.

2. By comparison, the Colts (the NFL's only other undefeated team) are fifth in points per game and third in average yardage; they average 6.3 yards per play on offense, and outscore their opponents by an average of 11 points per game.

3. I would say the Indianapolis Colts. They are 14-0 coming in to the play-offs. I would expect the Colts and the New Orleans Saints in the final.

Currently the best overall team is the Arizona Cardinals, the New Orleans Saints, and the Indianapolis Colts.

Most would narrow it down to just the Colts and the Saints because of the records. Some would throw the Minnesota Vikings in the run since they have the closest record to being undefeated, but the lost against the Cardinals did put their record into question.

The 1972 Miami Dolphins who went 17-0. Or the 1985 Chicago Bears who went 16-1.
