Its a personal choice.You cant compare a defender with a striker/forward or midfielder.If you look at a players all round ability, Gerrard or Lampard.Probably Lampard due to the fact he scores more goals than many out & out strikers!I think Gerrard is very close though.I think maybe Gerrard is a bit faster, but its close & Frank Lampard just edges it.This is only an opinion.Its really an impossible question to answer.A bit like asking 'How longs a piece of string?'
