No. Softball is a physical and mental game. It contains muscular endurance and strength, but that is not all it is about. Being a catcher, I personally have to be both mental and physical in great aspects. I have to know what pitches to call in what situations, stay focused to tell my team how many outs and where to go with the ball, but I also have to block up balls in the dirt, have muscular endurance to catch 4 to 5 games back to back in 90 to 100 degree heat, and wear massive amounts of equiptment. So, therefore, it involves much more than just muscular endurance!
