i don't think sachin is the best player,

no doubt hat sachin has number of records on his pocket which no one can beat but sachin sachin is not the best player for me.

Sachin is the one who will score ball to run consistntly unless some one supports him otherwise he will got out and he score runs at par with ball which is not very much satisfied to the batsman who come on no. 1 position.

if we compare the openers of all the tams we found that if openers stay on crease for around 5-10 overs then the chances of winning the match is very high boz they score run at faster rate like Adam gilchrist, chris gyle, haden, mculam, graeme smith, sehwag, afridi etc..... which sachin wont do and going to scrore runs at par with ball.

Lets analyse this

when u say cricketer . its not just a batsman. It includes batsman bowler and wicket keeper and fielding as well. But some sick minds invariably feel that greatest cricketer is greatest batsman.

Going by true logic greatest cricketers are great performers in all the departments i.e Bowling batting wicket keeping and fielding- either all rounders or specialists in only one department

The next thing is great match winners are the greatest cricketers

and therefore

Shane warne, Muthiah muralidharan, glen mac grath and Anil Kumble, Virender Sehwag, kapil Dev, Botham, Wasim Akram, Miandad, Viv Richards, mohinder amarnath aravinda disilva etc ( match winners) are greatest cricketers.

Therefore Sachin Tendulkar is Not the greatest cricketer

Is Sachin tendulkar at least greatest batsman?

If Rahul Dravid Riky ponting, Viv Richards sunil Gavaskar played as long as Tendulkar even they would have got 100 tons or more and even same amount of runs or more. Nothing great

Therefor Sachin is only one of the great batsman and not the greatest.

He is not even a great match winner. Tell me one single instance where Sachin has single handedly has won a match in a career spanning 20 years plus. Whenever sachin gets a big knock the bowlers have to toil extremely hard if at all India has to win

the only good quality of Sachin is he is a consistant player over a long period of time. Nothing else.

Although he claims that he plays for team, whenever he on 70 plus he over defends just to get his hundred keeping the team interests at stake.
