I would say Volleyball is predominantly an aerobic sport, however, it is a tricky one. It should be catagorized as interval training, which is aerobic. The rallies (or whatever you call them) don't necessarily last for relatively long periods of time, however a game consists of numerous episodes of these rallies, hence I would classify it as aerobic =D
