A defensive back or corners job is to either to cover a wide receiver or get a zone. Their is two zones that a defensive back could have, flats(7 yards from the line of scrummage and one fourth of the field) and deep third( deep third of the field).

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?

The objective of a linebacker depends on the coverage that linebacker is in. If it is a blitz package, the linebacker will rush the line. If the linebacker is in a zone coverage he will guard any receiver who enters his zone. If the linebacker is in man coverage, he will guard one specific receiver.
