Crow hop.
A crow hop is a technique (for lack of a better term) that is used by outfielders when they are fielding a ball directly in front of them and need to make a quick throw into the infield to keep a runner from advancing an extra base. The ball is fielded on the glove hand side with the same leg forward (right leg for lefties, left leg for righties). Once the ball is in the fielder's glove, they kick their trailing leg up and forward and turn their foot at an angle so when it lands it is perpendicular to the target they are throwing to. While doing this they are also positioning their their non throwing shoulder towards the target. This should put the body at an angle to make a straight and direct throw to the target.
