I think you mean "passing"? Passing is the same as 'bumping', usually from the back row, with your forearms.
Forearms or hands and fingers if overhead passing.
Bumping is passing the ball on your forearms. you should make a flat surface so that the ball goes where you want it to go.
Putting hands toghether with your two thums pointing could be used for bumping or serving
volleyball clinics are like practices and they review everything serving, passing, hitting, blockingg
Passing, Setting, and Spiking/Hitting.
We use volleyball "dribbling" to work on forearm passing. The players start on the base line and then walk (in proper posture) to the net while "dribbling" or passing the ball to themselves using their forearms. We generally have them all facing the same direction (right, left, facing the net, finally walking backwards). Coaching points: # Pass the ball high # Work on proper forearm positioning # Don't swing at the ball # Don't catch the ball # Don't let the ball drop
Passing, or setting
Bumping a volleyball is the action of passing the ball to a specific spot the court by using your arms as a platform and your legs to give you power.
