i don't even want to think in England about 50,00 a week for the top players in the Perm sometimes more its really disgusting all part of modern football not soccer

I think the previous responder said 50,00 when I'm sure they meant 50,000 and Perm when they meant Premiership but I know where you're coming from.

I think you may be confusing 'win' with 'earn'. They win cups, medals and trophies that they win as a team. Their earnings are varied, with the lower divisions earning a small amount, sometimes just expenses and rail fares etc. but the further up the scale you go, the more a player can earn. Their sporting lives are short, the clubs buy and sell them like pieces of meat and they are exploited for everything they have, even their wives, so why not pay them a small fortune for the privilege?

Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry, John Terry and the like don't earn their £150,000+ per week but if you were in the a same position, what would you do? Turn it down?

Yeah, go on. Just you turn it down...
