Both ice and indoor hockey allow six players in total at a time per team. Field Hockey is normally 11, although some grades (Super6 and Junior 8s, for example only use 6 and 8 players respectively).
seven
Between 6-8 teams can play on the ice at the same time, comprising 48 players.
Hockey has 6 players on the ice at a time. Including the goalie. I can't think of any sport that would only have six. But hockey has six at a time.
6
5 to 8 players play at a time
12 - 3 forwards, 2 defencemen and a goaltender for each team during non-penalty play.
A team can have up to 16 players generally. 11 players are on the field at one time - 10 field players and 1 goal keeper. Up to 5 players can be on the 'bench' and can be rotated into the game at any time.
uhhh... wut
12 - 3 forwards, 2 defencemen and a goaltender for each team during non-penalty play.
As far as I Know there are 4 players per side.
well six play on the ice at a time but most teams have 22 or more players on the team but only 20 might play.(4 lines of 3 forwards=12 player) (3 sets of 2 defencmen=6 players) (2goalies) (2 or more not playing players who could be hurt or back -ups.)
