A pitcher should work up to the amount of pitches that they will usually throw if they are going to pitch the entire game. That is usually somewhere around 125 pitches. Better to be over prepared than under prepared.
You can walk after four pitches.
I am in little league and so I know a little about this. I'll say on average we pitch about 60 pitches. Not that many, but a lot in just six innings.
There is no limit to how many pitches can be thrown in a game.
In softball, there is no limit to the number of foul balls a batter can hit in an at-bat. A player can continue to foul off pitches until they either hit a fair ball or strike out, as long as they do not foul a third strike. This rule allows batters to extend their at-bats by making contact with pitches that are outside the strike zone.
Average Baseball lasts 6-7 pitches. about 6-10 dozen
Three strikes equal one out in a regular softball game.
it's different each game but the average life of a ball in the mlb is seven pitches
There could be 3-9 winnings . LOL i love softball Hamm:)

There are a number of factors that can cause this number to vary. In a typical game a batter, in the top of the order, will average about 3 at bats per game.
A player can sit out at least 3 times during a softball game in a row.
