All paintball guns hurt the same if they're shooting at the required 300 fps. Which amounts to the equivalent of being popped with a rubber band at about 1-15 feet. Anything closer than this will feel more like a pinch with pliers until it subsides to a throb, and anything past 20 or so feet will hardly even sting. (keep in mind I've been playing for 6 years now so my view on this may be a little distorted.)

For its price it is an avearge, overall no. It is a semi auto mechanical marker with a stock. For the same amount of money you could get a bt4, azodin kaos, or alpha black.
