If both challenges are successful, the coach is given a third challenge.
Note, you can only challenge a play if you have a timeout remaining, so if a coach uses all his timeouts in the first minute of the 1st quarter, he cannot challenge the rest of the half (until he gets new timeouts at the start of the 3rd quarter), even if he still has both challenges remaining.
Each team is allowed two challenges, however during the final two minutes of each half and any overtimes, reviews are iniated by the replay official. If a team wins both its challenges, they are allowed a third challenge.

A team will never receive more than two challenges per game. If a coach challenges a call and is not successful, he is charged with a time-out and cannot challenge any call the remainder of the game. If a coach's challenge is successful, he is not charged with a time-out and may challenge one more time during the game. Even if a second challenge is successful, a coach will not receive a third challenge.
You don't very often see many challenged calls in college football because every play is reviewed in the booth, and if the replay official needs to stop the game, he calls down to the officials on the field. Honestly, why a coach might ever have to use a challenge makes no sense to me.
2 per game... but if the coach correctly wins both challenges the team gets an extra one
In a game, a coach can challenge a play two times. However, if they get both of those challenges right, then they can challenge a third play.
The coach is allowed 1 challenge per half, but unlike the NFL every play in college can be reviewed by the refs challenge or no.
