Jerry Reese - New York Giants 2007

Martin Mayhew - Detroit Lions 2008

Reggie McKenzie - Oakland Raiders 2012

Rick Smith - Houston Texans 2012

Doug Whaley - Bills 2013

Ray Farmer - Cleveland Browns 2014

(note: Cardinals had black GM, Rod Graves, who was fired in 2012

There have only been five African American General Managers in Major League Baseball.

There are currently zero African American GMs in Major League Baseball.

In 1994, former big leaguer Bob Watson, took over the reigns as GM of the Houston Astros, the first time an African American had held that position.
