Interesting corollary wrt The Heisman award; of all the colleges John Heisman coached, Auburn University is the only one to have produced an actual Heisman Award winner.

Auburn University has produced three Heisman Trophy winners. The first was quarterback Pat Sullivan, who won the award for the 1971 season. Second to accomplish the feat was running back Bo Jackson, who won the 1985 Heisman. The most recent Auburn winner was quarterback Cam Newton, who won the Heisman and the national championship for 2010.
