depends on what kind of cheer it is...
dances are maybe a minute and a half
football cheers are about one eight count but then it repeats so in all about three eight counts
and Basketball depends because they arent done standing so its mostly stomping and clapping
usually for supporting your school or a sports teamAlso, there's All Star cheerleading, in which you learn a 2 and a half minute routine of jumps, stunts, and tumbling. You then preform your routine at one of the many competitions your team can sign up for.
Cheerleading competitions are when a bunch of different teams from different areas go to a high school or college, usually, and perform their routine. their routines are judged by the judges and whoever has the highest score wins.
Yes. if you are doing competitive cheerleading you will have a tumbling, stunting, jumping, cheer, and dance routine.
Cheerleading can affect your school work by you focusing on cheerleading more than schoolwork.
In my opinion, you should never pain your nails for cheerleading. It draws attention away from your routine/motions. It also is a distraction to the audience/judges. For school cheerleading, wearing neail polish at a competition could get you a deduction
something big and the cherry on top of the sunday!
Cheerleading has 5 parts, Cheer, jumps, dance, stunts, and tumbling. All star cheer does not have a cheer.

Cheerleading routines are created when coaches and choreographers sit down and look at the skill of the team. they then plan a routine based on the athletes skill level
You can do a cheerleading routine with almost ANY number of cheerleaders. It helps to have at least 5, but four will do just fine. You just need to have two bases, a flyer, and a spotter, and that's pretty much it. good luck!

yes, I do. Even though it is a small school and only about 14 girls tryout for it, you still have to. Our Squad is only 8, at least for football cheerleading. Our basket ball is 3 right now and westling is 6 with 2 alternates.
