Its definitely not "needed" just look at players like Allen Iverson and Brandon Jennings. There not big strong guys, there quick, shifty hard to handle players. But to players like Dwight Howard and other centers its definitely needed cause most of the players at center are big and very physical. So, its a yes an no question.
