College football starts with a coin toss. The winner of the toss gets to choose wheather to play defense first or offense first. Then the team that loses the toss chooses what side of the field to play on. The teams go to the 25-yard line, so they are 25 yards away from the endzone. The team then has to try to score, there is no time limit but there is still a play clock. Once that team scores or turns the ball over the other team takes over on offense at the same 25 yard line going in the same direction. That team trys to score. if the other team got a field goal then the second team trys to get a touchdown to win or a field goal to tie. If both teams are tied at the end of overtime, then a second overtime is started. And the first team starts on defense this time, and the same rules as the first overtime apply. If it gets as far as a fourth overtime then the teams must go for two-point convertions if the score touchdowns and there is no longer a PAT. This keeps going till one team ends up with a higher score at the end of overtime, at that point that team wins.
