I had this problem too but I found that I was not sitting back all of the way, if you don't sit back you will tend to jump up instead of back. If you have a very flexible back this is very common. You can also do drills like jumping back onto a mat with a hollow back because you might be arching your back too much. If you work on your back strength this may help too. I hope this helped!
