I think she might have taken up tumbling or gymnastics before. She hasn't shown any proof of any other event like beam, bars, and vault but has shown some floor. In one Hannah Montana episode, she shows a backhandspring stepout, backhandspring stepout, and a backtuck all done on a straight line and the feet as close to each other as possible so I'm taking a guess that she may have done beam (if she was a gymnast) From what we see, she's probably a tumbler or gymnast.
backhandspring tuck layout... NEED TUMBLING
There are many different terminologies in gymnastics. Depending on the club you practice at and the event you are on. There are also two kinds of gymnastics: Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics. For example, the place i go calls a backhandspring, a flipflop and walkovers, handstand bridges
A layout is a tumbling skill level that a higher skill but not uncommon. It could be described as a backtuck (back flip) with your entire body straight. It is usually done after a roundoff backhandspring or just a roundoff. How to do a layout is a skill learned after often years of training and working extremely hard and really to do one you have to have the skills of a backhandspring and a backtuck and it requires the strength and power to be able to flip your body around with grace and percision. For a visual of a "layout" you can go on YouTube and search "standing layout" or "roundoff backhandspring layout" and if you really want to see some cool skill levels search on YouTube "Cheersport Atlanta Tumbling" and there are a couple of videos of a tumbling contest held at Cheersport National Championships in Atlanta (its the worlds largest competition) and they are really talented athletes. Hope my answer was helpful!

It depends on who you ask, if you ask a club gymnast she will most likely say a backtuck, frontuck and so on! If you ask a cheerleader or highschool gymnast they will probably say that its a backhandspring or fronthandspring. Your Welcome!!
Being able to do a backwalk over will help get the motion down but trying a backhandspring on your own is dangerous. i suggest going to a gymnastics gym nearby and trying it then.
round off layout backhandspring buck tuck full. and double back handspring back tuck full. hope this helps.
I suggest going to a gymnastics gym and using a harness with one of the instructors until you get the general feeling for it, then move onto a tumbling mat when you are ready. Good Luck!!
A salto in gymnastics is a flip in which your hands are not used. Front and back saltos are perfomed in tucked, piked, and layout positions.
