yes a goalie has scored a goal and that was Marty broduer of the new jersy devils
The first Goalie to score a goal was Ron Hextall on December 8, 1987. If you don't count the Islander's goalie scoring on himself. EDIT: It has happened a few times. There are instances where the goalie did not shoot the puck into the net, but was the alst person to touch before the other team accidentally scored on themselves. Ryan Miller became a goalie in the early stages of his life. In a little league championship game he was playing center but asked his father (the coach) if he could play goalie, his dad said " Ryan, you can play goalie if you tie this game" the score was 3-1 in the second and yes Ryan scored to goals to even the score at 3. His dad then put him in net and Ryan's team went on to win 4-3 in overtime. Ryan Miller is now playing for the Buffalo Sabres hockey organization and is one of the best goalies in the world along with New Jersey Devils goalie Martin Broduer, Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo, and Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard. This is an inspiring story that lets us all know that is you really want something and you have fun with it you will be successful. That is what Ryan Miller all wants us to know. Thank you to the Staedfest Foundation and Reebok Hockey.
As of 2009, the American League won 61 World Series titles, the National League 43.
