Ronaldo wanted the number 7 jersey made famous at Manchester United by Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and then David Beckham. that is f**king right
Manchester United don't enter the World Cup they're a club therefore they cannot have a world cup ranking. Surely the person who asked this is American.
He is now retired, but at the time question was asked he was the manager of Manchester United.
Indeed, since this question was asked, in April 2010, Chicharito, real name Javier Hernández Balcázar joined Manchester United.
According to http://www.listtu.com/list/23 it is Manchester United, at least right now - cause this is a poll, so people can determine the results. If You are speaking top clubs in Europe are: Portugal: Sl Benfica Spain: Real Madrid France: Olyimpic Lyon Germany: Bayern Munich Italy: AC Millan England: Manchester United I wouldn't say Manchester United if you asked me it is clear that by Liverpool football clubs history that they are actually the best team in England by far!
Cristiano Ronaldo have 2 sisters and one brother, one of his sisters is a famous singer in Portugal and goes by the name Ronalda. Hes older brothers name is Hugo and hes other older sisters name is Elma. His parents names are Dinis and Dolores. Dinis died in September 2005 (age of 52) right before a world cup qualification match. And Ronaldo still went out on the pitch and played the match. Now every celebration includes a pray to his father :)
David Beckham filled the shoes of Eric Cantona at Manchester United, and did a good job there, he really got famous in England, during the World Cup qualifying match verses Greece. He scored a wonderful free kick in injury time to secure England's qualification to the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
During the later part of the 19th, through the early stages of the 20th centuries; Manchester in the United Kingdom was famed for it's (now derilict) textile industry. New Zealand, being a relatively new country at the time was completely reliant on imports for all it's textiles & linens. Manchester Linen became much sought after for bedding, due to it's superior quality over alternative sources. (As today, Egyptian Cotton is considered the superior article.) So consumers would seek it out by name. Over time, where once they would have asked for 'Manchester Linen' - this became shortened, to simply 'Manchester'. Hence Kiwi's now calling bedding Manchester.
Cristiano Ronaldo cannot under any circumstances reveal his Permanent home address due to security restrictions. He does however have a fan mail address that you will find on the clubs website
