One can't get over the fear of heights without going someplace high in the air. One can't get over the fear of the dark without being in the dark. One can't get over the fear of tackling without attempting to tackle.
Place extreme confidence in your coach. Your coach should instruct you on the proper ways to tackle. Do as your coach instructs you to do, and not to do, when you tackle. Understand that it may not come easy but with practice you will get good at it. Understand that injury is always possible but, when using the proper technique, is highly unlikely.
