At most schools that have helmet stickers, they are rewards for good plays and they are only awarded after the team wins. At the University of Georga, black bones are rewarded for good academic performance; white bones are rewarded for good plays and performance criteria met (see link). Ohio State has a rather elaborate formula for awarding Buckeye stickers (see link). Florida State apparently has a point system for awarding red tomahawks. Apparently, players can loose tomahawks already awarded. Major College Football Programs That Award Helmet Stickers: Oho State: Buckeye Florida State: Tomahawk Clemson: Paw Print Vanderbilt: Anchor North Carolina State: Wolf's Fang Purdue: Purdue Pete East Carolina: Pirate's Skull Other Colleges That Award Helmet Stickers: Lousinia-Lafyette: chili pepper
The Tomahawk Chop is derived from a gesture popularized by fans of the Florida State Seminoles. Supposedly, Deion Sanders, a Florida State product, taught it to Atlanta Braves fans when he joined the Braves in 1991.
I am a student at Michigan State and the defensive players get small "s" stickers. It's only the defensive players though. I'm pretty sure Ohio State does. I think Michigan used to in the 80's. Florida State has tomahawk stickers. NC State wolfpack has paw print stickers. Oklahoma State - a cowboy Ohio State - a buckeye leaf Lousiville - a cardinal head Pitt - a tooth Florida State - a thomahawk Missouri - tiger paw Arizona - wildcat paw Hawaii - diamond North Carolina -tarheel logo There are many more that I can't remember. Oklahoma State and Arizona no longer do it and I don't think Missouri does it anymore either. Gerioga does a dog bone. Clemson does a paw. I believe BYU and Vandy have just started using pride stickers. Prude and E. Carolina also do it.

No, you are not required to wear a motorcycle helmet in the state of Florida as long as you are 21 years of age and have at least $10,000 in medical insurance coverage.

Florida State University started the tomahawk chop in 1984 in a game against Auburn. Thereafter it became the signature of FSU games. Atlanta "borrowed" the chop when Dieon Sanders came to the plate early in his first year with the Braves. The Kansas City Chiefs have shown no shame and have adopted it as their own in recent years as well. The music for the chop was written by a music professor at FSU and was copy writed some years ago.
The legality of car bumper stickers varies from state to state and country to country. Technically stickers that could be catagorised as offensive, such as racist, swearing etc may be illegal.
If your state has a mandatory helmet law, it will state that you must wear a helmet that complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218. That standard applies to manufacturers of helmets. If the manufacturer of your helmet has certified that your helmet complies with FMVSS-218, then you can wear it while riding on the street. If your state does not have a mandatory helmet law, you can wear whatever you want to, including a dirt bike helmet, a bicycle helmet, or nothing at all.If your state has a mandatory helmet law, it will state that you must wear a helmet that complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218.
