Yes the other team gets the points if you score in the wrong basket.
Yes...
A basket made when the player shoots from behind the line drawn on the floor - 21 feet or so from the basket (different lengths for college, international and NBA courts).
A 2 point shot in Basketball is worth only two points. As long as the player shoots and makes the basket within the three point parameter, they are given two points for the shot.
the point goes to the other team.
It is called making a basket. Two points are awarded if a player makes a basket from within the three point arc... and three points are awarded if a player makes a basket from beyond the three point arc.
Nope! Basketball uses a point system with each basket earning that player or team 2 points. If it makes it in while the player is outside of the 3-point line, they earn 3 points! :)
the other team
When a player shoots the ball and it goes through the net it scores 2 points unless he is shooting from behind the 3 point arc. In that case it scores 3 points. Shots from the free-throw line (charity stripe) score 1 point.
Well, I think you mean what is the three point line... well the three point line in basketball is a designated arc line radiating from the basket. If a player shoots beyond the three point line, it counts as three points while if you shoot inside the three point line, it only counts as two points.
The rule for scoring in the wrong basket is that the other team gets the point

It's when a player makes a basket during the normal play of the game. Dunks, layups, jump shots, & 3 point shots are examples of field goals. A free throw is NOT a field goal because it doesn't occur during the normal play of the game.It is when you throw the ball into the basket
