As a Houston Texans fan myself, I unfortunately have to say that they have never been to the Super Bowl. Although, they have been to the playoffs on a few occasions (three to be exact). The first was in 2011, when they lost in the Divisional Round to the Baltimore Ravens. The second was the year after in 2012, when they lost in the Divisional Round again, but this time to the New England Patriots. The last time was last year (2015), and they lost in the Wild Card Round to the Kansas City Chiefs.
No. The Oilers played in two AFC championship games (1978 and 1979) and lost to the Steelers both times. Through Super Bowl XLIII, the only Super Bowl the franchise has made is SB XXXIV, as the Tennessee Titans, against the St. Louis Rams.
No, they never went as the Oilers. But when the team moved to Tennessee, they changed there name to the Titans and played the Rams in one of the best superbowls ever.

No Houston franchise has ever won a Super Bowl title.
The Tennessee Titans have never won a Super Bowl. But the team did win two AFL Championships in 1960 and 1961, when they were known as the Houston Oilers.
No. The Houston Texans are one of four National Football League teams that have never played in a Super Bowl. The three others are the the Cleveland Browns, the Detroit Lions and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As the Houston Oilers they made the playoffs 15 times and won nine times.
The Louisana Superdome was the first domed dtadium to host the Super Bowl. The Superdome was supposed to host Super Bowl IX, but delays in construction led to the Super Bowl being moved to Tulane Stadium. Two years later the Superdome hosted Super Bowl XII on 1/15/1978, the first ever NFL Title game played in a domed stadium. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Denver Broncos 27-10.
No. Two Super Bowls have been played in Houston ... Super Bowl VIII at Rice Stadium and Super Bowl XXXVIII at Reliant Stadium. The Astrodome was simply deemed "too small" for the Super Bowl, even in the early years.

No super bowl has ever went to overtime.
No women ever played in a Super Bowl game.
Earl Campbell, Gary Brown, and Eddie George were the best running backs the Oilers ever had. Eddie George did play in Houston before the team moved away.
