yeahh it is necessary, not wearing a girdle leaves your hips open to helmets and anything else, the hip or side is a very frequent spot where the football player will take a hit by a helmet, plus landing on your side after getting hit or jumping for a ball is alot less painful if you have your girdle w/hip pads on. It also helps to keep your thigh pads in place if your girdle has pad pockets in them which i have found is a lot easier.
They wear many.... you have your basic shoulder pads, knee pads, hip pads, thigh pads tail bone pads and your cup.
i dont wear pads i ocasionally wear a helmet and i wear that on my heade but when i have to wear pads i wear them on my elbows and ocasionaly the wrist guards but they make it harder to bertslide and that.
Yes, some girdles have pockets sewn in and a pad set must be purchased and placed in those pockets. Now manufacturers are also making "integrated" girdles where the pads (thigh and tail) are already sewn in. Just wear, wash, dry, and re-use! you dont why would you ever wear those things.
You Dont Have To Wear A Pad If you arent on your Period. But it is always good to carry pads or tampons with you in your bag
Football Boots, Shin Pads, A few balls, Football pitch etc.
Protection and clothing you would find on a football player would include a helmet with a face mask and chin strap, mouth guard, shoulder pads, collar pads, neck pad or roll, forearm pads, a flak jacket or some sort of rib protection, hip pads, a girdle over an athletic supporter and cup, tailbone pads, thigh pads, knee pads, and cleats. Over all this padding would go the jersey top and pants.
If I were you I wouldn't. I don't care if there is a cute guy or cute girl there. With the girdle on you can overheat easier and it might cause you to have a heat stroke. Seriously, just don't wear the girdle...
Wear protective gloves (cutters or Nike hyper beast) wear low profile shoulder pads that are small on you to prevent the d line from grabbing you up top a helmet should cover the neck area a little bit and be a little high up to your eye level... If you have bad knees I know I use knee braces in game and practice sometimes training too also get some ankle high cleats with long spikes... Lead from the front!
