You Can buy a conductors baton at most band or music stores. you can buy a baton twirling baton online or at a competition. be sure to have your arm measured before you buy one. i recommend sharp baton (what i use for team routines), star baton (what i use for individual routines), or abc baton.
If the baton falls during a relay race, the team must pick it up and continue running, but they may lose valuable time. The runner who drops the baton can retrieve it, but they must do so within the designated exchange zone to avoid disqualification. If the baton is not recovered or the team fails to complete the race properly, they may be disqualified from the event. Overall, a dropped baton can significantly impact a team's chances of winning.
A relay is a race in which there are several runners in a team and they all run a short distance with a baton and pass this baton to the next team member who runs the next length with it. The fastest team round the circuit wins. There is much skill in handing the baton over without losing speed (or dropping it!).

Abraham baton
It is a baton.
If you throw the baton in a relay race, it typically results in disqualification for the team. The baton must be passed between runners during designated exchange zones; throwing it violates the rules. If a team member fails to properly pass the baton, they may lose valuable time and momentum, impacting their overall performance.

if the person drops the baton he has to pick it up and then hand it to his team mate as the one waiting on the baton cannot pick it up if it didn't fall from him.
