for Baseball metal cleats are usally the one you want do to the dirt but with metal cleats you cant cut as good like the molded ones trust me i had a pair for football if its not turf you want detachable
There is no difference. The only difference there MIGHT be is the bottom of the cleat. You can have METAL or MOLDED cleats. There are softball cleats that are metal but the majority of the time the baseball cleats TEND TO BE metal and softball cleats TEND TO BE molded. BUT, metal cleats are allowed in softball, made for softball, AND VISE VERSA. SO IT REALLY WOULDN'T MATTER WHAT CLEATS YOU BOUGHT.
Football cleats are designed to help the athlete dig in and resist force against his/her movement forward. They have cleats that are molded mainly horizontally across the shoe to give more front driven support. Baseball cleats also have support for front driven movement, but, unlike football cleats, they also have cleats that are positioned vertically along the side to help better support side to side movements as well. Baseball cleats can either be molded plastic or metal - metal cleats are not permitted in football.
the molded type not the detachable kind the shorter the better
if your playing on wet grass then yes
Molded cleats tend to be less expensive than replacable cleats, and are considered less likely to injure other players - in a slide for example. A disadvantage is that you have to buy a new pair if the cleats break or wear out before the shoe does.
They are not different things. Soft spikes are the spikes on the bottom of most golf shoes. There are two types of spikes, soft spikes (which are as standard with 99% of golf shows) and metal spikes - which are a single metal stud. Metal spikes were common many years ago, but soft spikes have revolutionised the industry, they provide more grip and are not as taxing on the green.
Metal cleats allow you to get better traction on the dirt as the dig into the dirt better than rubber cleats do. They also allow for better and faster changes of direction. They help to accelerate as they dig into the dirt rather then running on top of it, meaning you have more to push off of.
7 on detachable cleats. The amount on molded cleats depends on the manufacturer
for soccer you aren't allowed to have metal cleats
Rubber cleats are always safer than metal cleats because it is softer and has a less chance of injuring someone.
Depending on what type of field you play on, you can either wear cleats of turf shoes. Cleats are the most common type of softball shoe. There are both rubber cleats and metal cleats, but most leagues do not allow you to wear metal cleats.
Cleats for little league players use plastic cleats
