Its a bit of a loaded question, but the "study" part of preparation of American football is far far more rigorous. Whether that means smarter is subjective. American football players at all positions are required to remember literally 100s of variations of plays and how those plays relate to 100s of possible counter plays and formations by the opposing side. ABout a 1000 hours of film study take place each year. I might also note American football players have to go to college for a minimum of two years and are intelligence tested before being drafted. Again how that equates to intelligence is subjective.
In the sport of American football, there are eleven starting players on each team.
that depends if you are talking about soccer football or American football
For both American football and standard football (soccer) the standard amount of players allowed for each team on the field is 11. When players are limited in American football you will see 8 man football.
soccer is 22 don't have a clue for American football
Probably more soccer players. But it is hardly fair to limit only one side to just one country. America has only 300 million of the over 6 billion people in the world. I would bet that there are more American football players than Tunisian soccer players.
Yes, they would all be sports where players do get injuries.
one
If you are referring to American football, then not much besides that there and players and a ball, Soccer in most other countries is aside from America is called football or futball. Soccer and football are similar in that they are both sports that are played outdoors and require players to chase balls.
