When the old Yankee Stadium opened in 1923, it had ridiculous distances (except where Babe Ruth hit most of his homers). Some fences were over 500 feet from home plate.

These dimensions underwent several changes, the final set transposed to the plans for the new stadium, so that all distances in the current Yankee Stadium are nearly identical to last set at the old Yankee Stadium.

Everyone made a good answer to this question. Only because I have the figures on the Stadium at some point in time, I thought I thought I would share them.

Left field was 281 feet

center field was 490 feet and right field was 295 feet. Congrats to all!
