Pump it up until it is firm, but not too firm.
Bounce it on hard to firm ground, it should bounce from dropping it from your waist height up to your waist height.
DO NOT pump it up by compressor, ALWAYS use a HAND PUMP.
Ball have been known to EXPLODE.
