Why don't people wear helmets?

You need the football helmet mainly for protection ,especially concussions. Way back in the good ol' days, players wore helmets made from leather and without face mask , nowadays players have something to hold on to, of course illegally. The football helmet is also used for the uniform and team identification. The rough and tumble British sport "Rugby",players wear no protection gear at all.

They can: Cause tunnel vision; block your peripheral vision (side vision); cause headaches; cause you to bump into things (especially above your head); people steal them if they're not tied down or hidden away (from cars, bikes, motorcycles); there's no place to put them at theaters, restaurants, stores, business's (at work); THEY COST MONEY (they are expensive); and worst of all---they are required by law (in most places).
They either can't afford a helmet or they think the price of a helmet is too expensive. OR they do not think a helmut is necessary. OR they think a helmeut is inconvenient or uncomfortable to wear. Maybe they will never need a helmet, that they can drive a vehicle safely and not have an accident.
