That was Paris, France - 1900 and 1924. Other cities to have held the Olympics twice: Summer Olympics - Athens - 1896 and 2004

Los Angeles - 1932 and 1984

London - 1908 and 1948 (will host the Olympics for a 3rd time in 2012)

Stockholm - 1912 and 1956 (Melbourne was the 'host' city for the 1956 Games but all equestrian events were held in Stockholm) Winter Olympics - St. Moritz - 1928 and 1948

Lake Placid - 1932 and 1980

Innsbruck - 1964 and 1976
