"Hitting approach" is a very broad and general term. In fact, it is easier to define it by breaking it down into two categories: Mental approach and physical approach. Most of the time, your mental approach will determine the physical approach. For example, the situation of the game will determine what you are trying to do in a particular at bat. Therefore, you will make certain physical adjustments at the plate in an attempt to meet your objective. Check out my site at http://www.hitmore.net for more on this topic. Coach V
