well it depends if they are good or not, the average speed of a 13 year old that isn't that athletic and dosent play like juniors or club ball is probably 45 mph the AVERAGE speed of a 13yr old in junior league is probably about 60-65 mph well I'm 13 5'8 130 pounds and i can get up to 72 mph. My dad says that good but it depends.
65-70 mph would be pretty decent. Age plays a factor obviously, but how and when the body matures(some sooner than others) also needs to be accounted for. I believe most importantly, however, is how mechanically sound is the young pitcher. Good pitching mechanics can easily add 5+ mph no a pitchers fastball, quit often more. And mechanics keep the arm "safer" as well.
Anywhere from 30 to 65 mph
i know a girl that can pitch a softball 65 mph. she is 13 years old
