There is only one MLB stadium that has a dome, and that stadium is Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay Rays). However, there are 6 stadiums that have a retractable roof. Those stadiums are Rogers Centre (Toronto Blue Jays), Chase Field (Arizona Diamondbacks), Safeco Field (Seattle Mariners), Miller Park (Milwaukee Brewers), and Minute Maid Park (Houston Astros).

*Note-Marlins Ballpark (Miami Marlins) will have a retractable roof. Their stadium is currently under construction, and it is estimated to be finished in 2012.

There are 30 in MLB but how many are there worldwide? No one knows that number but if I had to guess, there are probably 100,000 in the U.S.
