If your ring is gold and you gold wire and if your ring is platinum ring then using platinum wire...
Yes, the PDC use the Unicorn Eclipse Pro dart board, it has razor thin wires so it increases the size of doubles and trebles, but only marginally. The BDO use the Winmau Blade III, it has thicker wires, than the Unicorn, but it barely affects scoring. My brand new Blade4 was delivered this week... AWESOME!Although colors and wire thicknesses and shapes may vary somewhat among the PROFESSIONAL DARTS CORPORATION, the BRITISH DARTS ORGANISATION and the AMERICAN DARTS ORGANIZATION, certain standards must be maintained:The inner diameter of the inner bull = ½".The inner diameter of the outer bull = 1¼".The inner width of the treble and double rings = 5/16".From the outer edge of the outer treble wire to the center of the bull = 4¼".From the outer edge of the outer double wire to the center of the bull = 6 3/4".The maximum wire thickness = 16 SWG (64 mil). The overall dartboard diameter = 18".The 20 is always the darker of the two wedge colors.-HW, former local Association Representative to the ADO

Coaxial cable is a type of cable that has a single inner-core wire. This wire is surrounded by a layer of insulation, a woven metal shield, and an outer jacket. Coaxial cables are commonly used for television, internet, and other data transmission applications.
A non-concentric wire is a wire where the outer insulation layer does not have a uniform thickness around the inner conductor. This can result in variations in the distance between the conductor and the outer insulation layer along the length of the wire.
The miscellaneous fabricated wire products industry produces a wide variety of wire-based goods, including barbed wire, bird cages, conveyor belts, hog rings, and paper clips.
If you want it to stay, use hog rings. You can pick the hog rings up at an upholstery shop or a farm supply store. The ringer pliers, too. It isn't impossible to put the rings on with regular pliers.
Duct tape, cut inner tubes, wire.
