11 plus subs 20 or for juniors 5 plus 3 subs
Ussually in a league game there are 6 or 7 substitute players but only 3 of them may enter the pitch during a league game. In a friendly there can be a maximum of 12 substitute players and the number of substitues a coach can make is unlimited.

I think they have five subs on the bench,.
It depends on how many players the coaches want. If they want alot of subs then they can have alot of players. if they didn't want alot of subs then they won't have alot of players on the team. If you are playing with 12 players they don't want over 50 subs do they? i don't think so.
In the EPL...3 Subs Universally in the main its also 3 subs
For adult soccer there are 11 players on the field, plus a number of substitutes as allowed by the competition you are playing in. Unlike American football once a player has been substituted he/she is not allowed back on the field. 23 1/2
Eleven on a field, and around 42 if you count reserves and unused subs
