Ceramic bearings are typically the fastest bearings for scooters due to their durability, lightweight construction, and smooth performance. They offer reduced friction, which can provide faster speeds and smoother rides compared to traditional steel bearings.
with skateboards its not the wheel that make the board go faster its the bearings the fastest ones out there are bones ceramic swiss
In theory ceramic bearings are fastest, compared to both cup & cone and cartridge bearings. However, as bearing drag are only a few % of the total resistance getting the "best" bearings really isn't going going to make you noticeably faster overall - unless there's something wrong with your current bearings.

If you mean the fastest speed on a longboard, the Guinness World Record is 80.83 mph. That record has probably been beaten but usually longboarders don't go really fast to break a world record, but for the "stoke" and love of the sport.
Swiss and Ceramic
bones Swiss are definitley the best bearings.they don't break that fast and make you fly!
yes its the fastest for the the ABEC but you could get the swiss or ceramics but those start to get into the $100's so for the best cheapest bearings, i would get ABEC 7
the swiss and ceramics are the most exspensive so they probably are the fastest but i would stick with ABEC 7 they work just as well
Analysis of heat transfer in basic building materials
Answerdepends on how much you want to spend. your best bet is Bones Bearings they make the BEST bearings on the market. Then FKDs, Greaseballs (these are long bearings so you know they'll be fast!), so on so onOkay so I disagree entirely with this, because these are all low level bearings. They are good , but not close to being the best by any means. F1 Ceramics would be one of the tops on the market they get faster as you skate them(25$ up). If you want them cheaper go onto loopd.com and try to get a sponsorship from them to get it cheaper. Also Swiss bearings they run around 50 to 100 . Reds are also good when you absolutely need them
abec ratings are just a marketing scam. all bearings are pretty much the same its just the quality that's different i would go for a well known skate brand if buying some
