Kickflips are a great intermediate trick and they can take people ages to learn with the wrong technique. I spent about a month practicing them over a year ago putting my front foot down on the flick, this caused me about six months of skating to relearn and perfect. The back foot is the same as an ollie, centred on the tip of the tail. Some skaters have it slightly off centre to help it spin when they are learning, but this isn't necessary and may be bad in the long run when you need to do them over or up obsticles. A clean pop and sturdy ollie are essential before attempting the kickflip. The flip of the board is all down to the front foot. It should be between two and four inches behind the front bolts. You want to have it pointing at approximatly a 45 degree angle, but this can vary depending on your flick technique and board. There are three basic ways of getting the board to flip easily, these are: -Using a smaller board. However this is not recommended for people with bad balance or large feet/shoes. -Placing your foot nearer to the boards tail, this gives you a better time to flick off the board. -Finally, placing the front foot nearer to the heel edge of the deck can increase the speed of the spin. Experienced skaters can add style with a slow spin, but when you're starting out you should aim for a quick rotation in order to have time to land the trick. Hope this helps, it is quite long and I hope I haven't confused you. Any other questions send me a message on YouTube my username is twellsskater. Have fun and practice hard. I am a very slow learner, this trick took me over 6 months to perfect, but now it is definitly worth it.
It was called the "magic flip"
well a varial is a whole lot harder than a kick because you kinda have to rotate the boad before you kick.

You should know how to do a Hardflip or Inward Heelflip first before you learn the impossible. An impossible is an upright 360 shuv-it. You're going to Ollie and then with your back foot scoop the board upwards and watch it to a flip and once you see the grip tape again, stomp it.
It should take you about a week or so you have to learn kickflip or you wont be able to do any other kickflip like varial kickflip tre flip and nightmare flip
You don't have to know how to skateboard before snowboarding, but it makes it a lot easier.
The Kickflip is the hardest of the basic skateboarding tricks, and one of the most popular skateboarding tricks to learn. Learning to kickflip first, before learning other skateboarding flip tricks, will help you in the long run.
Every one is different I was able to do a varial kickflip before I could do a plain kickflip 360 shuv-its Would give you a feel for the rotation helping you do a tre flip But everyone learns different things different ways just keep trying
yes travis barker skateboards, ive seen him skateboard on MTV before. he not the best skater but yes he does skate.
I Would get a fracture full set up to start off
The shape of a longboard was invented before but the trucks and wheels were small like those of a skateboard. Early boards didn't have pop.
you just pop and slide your foot up.
