Well, my target doesn't have legit and real skateboards, depending where your at, mine only have fake skateboards, not real names, or icons. Im guessing 3/4 no, but possibly. If your looking for real skateboards try Zumiez, or try Models Sporting Goods, or even Dick's Sporting Goods.

There is no specific type of board for a boy or girl. The only thing that matters is that it has good pop, concave, and wood type. No Wal-Mart skateboards!

Generally from the materials. A fake skateboard (one from like walmart or most sporting goods stores) is made from plastic or low quality wood. The wheels also may also be plastic, if it's like 50$ for a pre-built full skateboard, its likely a rip off. Make sure to get a skateboard from a skateshop or online from a skate supplier or whatever (I.e. www.ccs.com, ecboardco.com ect..)
Are pro skateboards good to buy?
yes because the wood is stronger than fake boards and some are lighter too. also pro models ,depending on what kind you get ,will last you longer than a fake skateboard would.
