Skateboarding is a well known sport. It reaches all around the world. In general public skateboarding is allowed on the sidewalk but every city and country has different laws. where it may be legal in the united states it may not be the case in Germany or china. my advice. depending on where you live i would ask an adult or spend a couple minutes on Google just to make sure.
i do not think it is a misdemeanor because i sakte on sidewalks all the time in front of police but i dont get in trouble,
YES!!! if u can get a ticket for rollerblading or skateboarding on the sidewalk......
Cruising down sidewalks in a style called "sidewalk surfing". Basically a little wooden surfboard on wheels
no vehicles are allowed on sidewalks.
I hope you're asking why skateboarding is ALLOWED. If you aren't and are asking why its "LOUD" then its because of the wheels vibrating creating soundwaves. Its allowed like riding a bike is allowed. This question confused me thoroughly
No. For that matter, you're not allowed to ride BICYCLES on the sidewalk either. Sidewalks are for PEDESTRIANS. That's why "sidewalk" includes the word "walk".
This is my opinion, i believe that skateboards should be aloud on sidewalks. i think that it is a great way for a Young person and an adult to exercise and stay fit. however they should respect the people that are around them and the businesses that they are skating in front of. follow the rules and regulations and all should be fine. plus if you will just talk to the owners or the people that are around they usually will not mind for you skating.
Some people use pavements (sidewalks) or you can go to specially created skateboarding parks, which is a lot safer for other users of pavements!
No, not even pedal bikes are allowed on sidewalks.
You are not allowed to drive karts on streets or sidewalks in most cities and municipalities. Even if they don't already have a law about it, you would be endangering pedestrians.
