Many decks are made by the same manufacteurer. For example: Almost, enjoi, and darkstar are all made by the same wood supplier. The amount of pop in decks is all about preference. I like dgk decks for their crisp stiff pop. Girl boards are good at first but quickly become flimsy and lose their pop fast. almost boards chip very easily.
Is the Almost Mullen Impact or Plan B Prolite better?
I've never had either of them but it looks to me like plan be prolite is wayyy better. Plan-b decided to stop making their boards how they used to and just do prolite its so innovative. plus its still gunna be the same price as normal decks.

Are zero decks heavy?
yes zero thomas boards to me are kind of heavy if you want a light skateboard try dgk or plan b and if you get a plan b dont get the prolite series they will snap very fast
Are real skateboards good?
Actually, ZERO Skateboards are one of the best among ALMOST and Plan B. There pretty good but I suggest that you use Plan B for an all-around style. That way you can land better tricks. I'm currently sponsored by Plan B and they have everything you need for a perfect skate session.
