Yes, but it wouldn't be easy. Don't be afraid to take classes with your level, not your age. Not everyone is cut out for ballet. Ith helps if you are naturally graceful.
Grade 1 Ballet is a level like in music. In Ballet you start at primary. you primary exam is the 1st exam you take in ballet and when you take your primary exam and pass you move up into grade 1.Depending on the ballet school and teacher children are around the age of 6 at grade 1.
Most ballet dancers are young, in their teens or twenties. There are some older ballet dancers, but ive never heard of one past their thirties. There is no set "retirement age"
you can do it at any age !!!
No, its never too late to start ballet. However, you may want to take a class on the basics, and ballet may not come as easy to you as it does to others your age who have taken it for years. With dedication, you can catch up, although you may have less of a chance to preform professionally.

Any age is a good time to start but if you are 20 it would be very hard to become a professional ballet dancer. If you are just doing it for fun and for exercise that is okay.

It's not really about your age, it's about how good you are at ballet, your age doesn't really matter. It is quite challenging but it depends on how well you do at ballet and if you have been through the other grades.
Karen Kain is a retired Canadian ballet dancer. Now she is the artistic director of the National Ballet of Canada. She began ballet at age 11 in 1962.
There are no age limits to start ballet as each studio differs but it is best not to start too early, six is a good age to start at if you want to be a professional ballerina
Cheryl Cole attended The Royal Ballet's summer school when she was nine.
Cyd Charisse went to Ballet Russe at age 13 which is a famous ballet school.
Born in California in 1959, she began ballet lessons when she was 7; her mom thought it would help her to overcome her shyness. I enclose a link to an excellent biography of Evelyn Cisneros's life.
