There is a huge difference! First of all, dance is an art. You perform it while sports are played. Dance's main focus is technique, fluidity, grace, etc. Regular sports( and i know parents will disagree) are practice just to be the best and win. It's true. Obviously, you want to be your own best when you dance, too. Plus, dance can be rehearse( or practice) or preform. You don't go around saying ," Hey Mom! Today I'm performing in my soccer game." You say your " playing " the sport. Overall, dance is a performed fine art. Sports are played. If you dance, your teachers probably would give a better explanation. Or look up famous dancers' quotes. You'll learn a lot from them. Trust this from experience.Good Question!
