It definitely depends on the height of the male and what his "place" in a company may be. All should be trim and proportionate in muscle.

If he was a taller man, he will be used for partnering the women more than someone that is shorter than the girl. If he is 6ft and taller he could be between 170-200lbs or more. It all depends on his build.

A shorter male dancer will most likely be used for speedy fast roles. Lots of petit allegro and jumps. He could be around 130-165lbs.

I danced for 20 years, 11 professionally.
